Michèle joined Fry Heath Spence in 2007 and acts for a range of clients from individuals through to blue-chip multinational corporations. She is experienced at handling invention capture, providing patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions and drafting patent applications. Her work focuses on the prosecution of patent applications before the EPO and UKIPO, representing clients in hearings at the EPO in pre-grant, opposition and appeal proceedings.

In terms of technology, Michèle works in all areas of chemistry. She has particular experience in the areas of pharmaceutical chemistry, drug delivery formulations, synthetic methods, composite materials, polymers, medical devices and antibody technology. She also handles simple mechanical cases, including computer-implemented inventions.

Beyond patents, Michèle has an interest in the protection of trade marks and industrial designs.
