Nick started out in 1992 as an office junior and searcher at a firm of patent and trade mark attorneys based in Holborn, London.

Nick progressed and moved to the role of Assistant Records Manager at another firm of patent and trade mark attorneys based in Kensington, London where he stayed for over 5 years before moving to a well-known law firm based in London where Nick was Head of Formalities for the Patents Department, dealing with all aspects of patent administration and formalities.

Nick joined us in 1999 as Assistant Records Manager, gained the CIPA Certificate in Patent Administration in 2000 and became the Records Manager of our Formalities Department in 2004.

Nick has experience in handling all patent, trade mark and registered design formalities and renewals worldwide. He has over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of European acceptance, national validation and post opposition formalities. Nick has vast experience in recording licences, assignments and changes of name worldwide.

In 2011, Nick was instrumental in the mapping, configuration and implementation of our current records system from our old records systems. Nick continues to review our present processes and systems.
